Description:
This position is located in the Support Services Division within the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) at Fort Riley, Kansas.DFMWR provides family support activities and services; social, fitness and recreational activities that enhance community life, fosters Soldier and unit readiness and promotes mental and physical fitness; and wellness programs that directly support readiness and resiliency.
Requirements:
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Work Experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one (1) year.
- Knowledge of programming, planning, budgeting, and long range planning.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
- Do you possess at least 2 years of experience overseeing a NAF Support Office (Marketing, Financial Management, Information technology, Property, etc.)?
- Do you possess at least 2 years of experience as an MWR Division Chief with responsibility for development of a division's annual operating budget?
