Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Scheduling and performing periodic surveys and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the command safety requirements and practices in the work environment, (e.g. office spaces, work areas, work operations/practices and conditions), to recommend measures and methods to correct deficiencies, records hazards, and or deficiencies and tracks abatement actions; 2) Planning each inspection, reviewing work processes, practices, and conditions characteristic to the site to be inspected and studying historical data from previous inspections; 3) investigating mishaps by obtaining statements from witnesses and photograph mishap scene, record circumstances or mishap and extent of injuries and or property damage to prepare a report of findings with recommendations to correct unsafe acts or conditions identified as casual factors; 4) Preparing and revising local safety instructions and guides that are relevant to current or planned operations; and 5) Providing technical safety training to workplace supervisors and employees using a wide variety of materials, publications, exhibits, and visual aids.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Evaluate daily processes and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and occupational standards.2) Implementing new processes and procedures based on safety and occupational health principles, methods, and techniques. 3) Eliminate health and safety risks regarding physical conditions, equipment, and machines.4) Provide training in accordance with local laws, standards, and guidelines.
