This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, Springfield, Virginia.Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:GS-14: Applicant must demonstrate one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
- Consulting with senior level stakeholders to influence decision-making for acquisition and procurement program operations;
- Analyzing acquisition program requirements and policies to develop strategies for mitigating risks related to cost, schedule, and performance;
- Implementing acquisition and procurement projects to achieve organizational objectives; AND
- Collaborating with management on the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Training/Certification Requirements : This is a DHS acquisition certification-covered position. Incumbent must have and maintain a Federal Acquisition Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) Level III certification or be able to obtain the certification within 18 months
