About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center at Nellis AFB.
Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours, but may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits.
Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping. Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns, and bruises.
May work uncommon work schedule, to include weekends.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience with one of the following sections: embroidery, sublimation, ceramic molding and painting, painting with other media, fabric crafts, calligraphy and or lettering machines, engraving, laser engraving, glass crafts and mat cutting required. Experience in graphic design software, especially Corel Draw is highly desirable. Ability to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements. Possess clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public. May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends. Requires continuous standing, walking and stooping. Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns and bruises. Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Will be required to obtain Lift Certification to assist at the Auto Hobby Shop once hired.
