Description:

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development , Office of Administration .

This position is currently located in Washington, DC; however, the duty location is expected to relocate to Alexandria, Virginia. The selected applicant may be required to report the Washington, DC location upon entry on duty and later transition to reporting to Alexandria, Virginia.

Requirements:

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing security policies, plans, and procedures to safeguard classified and sensitive information, intelligence sources and methods, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), personnel, and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) in compliance with Interagency Security Committee (ISC)
standards; AND
- Applying applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including ISC standards to effectively manage security operations; AND
- Responding to and investigating security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity; AND
- Utilizing security expertise to safeguard sensitive information, materials, equipment, and operational processes.

Selective Factor: Must have a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement , if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
