This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs (N922) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to complete simple, routine orders and assist higher graded framers with more complex orders at the Hickam Arts & Crafts Center.Requirements:

Applicant must have experience which demonstrates skill in use of basic hand and power woodworking tools and ability to measure and calculate materials needed for framing. Artistic and creative aptitude to design frame layouts highly desirable. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers.
