You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of NSWC PHILA DIV.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional knowledge and application of civilian pay principles and labor accounting. Comprehensive knowledge of Department of War Civilian Payroll, procedures, regulations, and policies. Knowledge of labor cost accounting methods, procedures, regulations, and policies. A high degree of skill in analytical reasoning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Navy ERP .Examples include: Program/Project Management (MUST), Task Management, Submarine Systems knowledge, Risk Management, Financial Management and Schedule Management.
