Description:
This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity and will transition to the Defense Health Agency in FY27. The incumbent will be responsible for postvention response initiatives and large-scale tracking across the Department of Defense (DoD) and with our public and private partners to identify evidenced based efforts that are applicable to the culture and practices of the DoD.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
- Develops and implements non-clinical, suicide prevention and postvention response efforts in line with the Public Health approach to suicide prevention, with expertise in various strategic methods
- Develops and conducts Postvention response evaluation development, design, implementation and translation of findings
- Coordinates and works with other DoD components, the Military Services, and/or other government agencies, to include serving on cross-agency or inter-agency working groups/committees.
In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 0180 series.
- Bachelor's degree (120 semester hours or 180 quarter hours) in psychology.
