Must have three years experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic
and well-established library procedures related to routine and repetitive aspects of major library
functions. Must have knowledge of the library's on-line computer system to take it up, bring it
down, and request basic reports. Must have the ability to operate basic library equipment such as
copying machine, microfilm reader-printer, and audiovisual equipment. Must have knowledge
of grammar, spelling, capitalization, syllabication, and punctuation required to prepare routine
correspondence and to file and locate materials accurately. Must have the ability to handle and
safeguard money and calculate statistics. Must be a qualified typist. This is a white-collar
position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
