Imagery Analysts maintain and build tasking strategies, and analyze and interpret imagery to support U.S. military and policymaker interests. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). 1. Demonstrated experience developing and presenting briefings to meet the need of various audiences.

4. Experience using analytical tools and technology for data conditioning, standardization, and analysis to produce findings.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Foreign Area Studies, Geography, History, International Affairs, International Studies, Military Science, Physical Science, Political Science, Remote Sensing, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience working in an Intelligence discipline analyzing and interpreting imagery and maintaining and building tasking strategies, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience working in an Intelligence discipline analyzing and interpreting imagery and maintaining and building tasking strategies, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Distinguish principal colors and shades/hues of principal colors; Near visual acuity of 20/20 or better with or without corrective lenses; Stereopsis ability; Hand steadiness
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENT: Prolonged exposure to video display units
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:
1. Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).
2. Experience using technical skills, such as computer vision implementation, data mining in addition to analytics, data visualization, statistical analysis, algorithm development, and/or data science.
3. Knowledge of national and/or Commercial Imaging Systems; Image Tasking; Image Processing; Image Exploitation, sensor capabilities; analytic assessments; or imagery analysis and writing imagery reports.
4. Knowledge of national or commercial imagery systems to include tasking, processing, exploitation, and analysis.
5. Experience with imagery analysis or all-source intelligence to address matters of national concern, such as foreign military, environmental, and/or terrorism.
6. Experience in a related work role for the federal government, specifically the military, Combat Commands and/or Intelligence Community.
