Description:
You will serve as a GG-0185-13 Supervisory Social Worker at the Cryptologic Warfare Group SIX in Fort Meade, MD. As the Fleet and Family Support Center Counseling and Advocacy Supervisor, you will provide leadership, direction, supervision, consultation, assistance, and coordination for all aspects of the Counseling and Advocacy Program, the Non-Medical Counseling Program, Family Advocacy Program, and the New Parent Support Home Visitation Program.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience, such as:1. Provide mastery level management, oversight and supervision of all counseling and advocacy programs and staff.
2. Recognize, identify and assess mental disorders per the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, to include crisis situations, and apply various counseling approaches.
3. Perform family advocacy case management to include receiving reports of child or domestic abuse and neglect.
4. Develop and conduct training on matters related to domestic violence and behavioral health.
5. Provide clinical guidance on risk assessment, case management services and other therapeutic interventions.
