This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS),State Demonstration Group (SDG), Division of System Reform Demonstration (DSRD).As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Division Deputy Director), GS-0107-14, you will serve as a Division Deputy Director directing and coordinating the division of staff to delivery system and financing reform.

In order to qualify for the GS-14 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
- Developing and/or implementing Medicaid Section 1115 Demonstration policies related to one of the following specific areas: innovation in service delivery, Medicaid budget neutrality and financing concepts, or alternative approaches to eligibility and coverage; AND
- Overseeing projects and coordinating assets to strengthen programmatic operations and mission delivery; AND
- Drafting specialized policy documentation (including health policy briefs, demonstration terms and conditions) to support precise policy formulation, execution, and regulatory adherence.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
