About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Aquatics) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation at Minot Air Force Base.
This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position. 35-40 hours are guaranteed each week.
Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must hold current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid, certifications from nationally recognized organizations. Certification for CPR must include for adults, children, and infants. Must be proficient in various swimming techniques. Practical knowledge and/or experience of swimming pools and activities, equipment, rule and procedures is required. Experience with financial management is desirable. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds or over and perform other lifeguard related physical duties. Requires incumbent exercises, standing, stooping and bending. The incumbent may come in daily contact with various toxic chemicals.
