Requirements:

FOR the GS-07

In addition to the meeting the Basic Education Requirements for this position , your resume must also demonstrate meeting the minimum qualification at least one year of at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector - your specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• As a professional Mechanical Engineer or OPM accepted equivalency (FE or EIT) engineer having working knowledge, skills and abilities w/subtractive (CNC), Additive (3D printing), processing (plating, cleaning NDI), manufacturing to assist senior engineers to complete engineering projects; AND
• Utilizing knowledge, skills and abilities w/software associated and w/computer aided design (CAD) such as Autocad, Solidworks NX to complete mechanical engineering assignments.

OR Successful completion of one full year of directly related graduate-level education or superior academic achievement OR Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR A combination of experience and directly related graduate-level education as described above that equates to one year of experience in which the percentage of required education plus the percentage of required experience equates to one hundred percent.
