You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Integrated Combat Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS 12/13 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience as a professional Engineer or Scientist providing leadership and guidance for Combat System/Combat System Element Engineering, Testing, or Certification.Examples of experience may include:
- Leading a team of scientists and engineers in the System Engineering of a Combat System, Weapon System or a Combat System Element
- Leading a team of scientists and engineers in the execution of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) for a Combat System, Weapon System or a Combat System Element
- Leading a Combat System Engineering effort where systems engineering design and development methodologies, paradigms, tools, and metrics were identified, implemented and utilized
