About the position: This position is a RFT (full-time) Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the Ft Eustis Community Center on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 35 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and possess skill in dealing with the public. Work requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, carrying. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing over 50 pounds. Frequently exposed to possibility of cuts and serious injuries and/or falls. Works both indoors. Exposure to elements, cold and heat, humidity, rain. drafts, dirt, dust, and noise. Special care is requires to avoid serious injury. Subject to an irregular tour of duty. Position requires satisfactory completion of a pre-employment
physical. Must have a current driver's license. Position requires satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check w/Inquiries and
Food Handler's Certification. "This Is a drug Testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing/or drug use. "
