Description:

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FLEET SUPPORT DIVISION of the AIRCRAFT MATERIAL AND ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE of NAVAL AIR FORCE EAST TRNG TEAMS SHORE.

Requirements:

To qualify for a GS-13 , your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience demonstrating knowledge of a wide range of disciplines supporting aircraft distribution management and depot maintenance as it applies to current and future Naval aircraft, engines, and avionics.
  • Experience in inventory management and depot level maintenance.
  • Experience utilizing budgetary methods and procedures to develop funding requirements.
  • Experience displaying knowledge of the practices and procedures used in each of the elements of logistic support and material acquisition and life cycle support principles of the Department of the Navy.
  • Experience interpreting technical data in a variety of forms, including military specifications, technical directives, engineering design changes and maintenance manuals.
  • Experience in the use of PC spreadsheet and database programs.
