This vacancy is for a GS-0346-13, Logistics Management Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 13 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on logistics transformation initiatives by integrating logistics systems, operational requirements, and information technology capabilities to improve enterprise-wide logistics performance and mission support.
- Analyzing logistics policies, processes, and organizational roles to align responsibilities, information exchanges, and enterprise logistics requirements in support of operational and sustainment objectives.
- Developing logistics program goals, objectives, and requirements through collaboration with technical and functional stakeholders to support lifecycle logistics, sustainment planning, and organizational mission needs.
- Monitoring and evaluating logistics programs by conducting program reviews, assessing performance metrics, adjusting resources and schedules, and recommending improvements to ensure logistics readiness and effectiveness.
- Preparing and delivering formal logistics briefing, readiness reviews, and analytical reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders to support decision-making for major logistics initiatives and acquisitions.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
