Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) verifying medical information for pre-credentialing for health care providers, such as: evaluating education and requirements for licensure, certification of registration applications, reviewing documents, etc.; 2) process applications, assist applicants completing required forms, extract medical information from databases such as: professional groups, associations and educational institutions; 3) utilizing office automation to run reports and/or data entry; and identifying issues to provide recommendations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
