Description:
The position performs installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a wide variety of commercially manufactured locking devices having both mechanical and electrical parts and devices. Other duties include serving as a general mechanic public runner, responding to orders and calls for repairs related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and carpentry work when working the various shift.THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO CURRENT SHADES OF GREEN EMPLOYEES.
Requirements:
Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform all the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to:1. Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
2. Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order.
3. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
4. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
