This National Guard position is for a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2987000 and is part of the FL CBJTC, National Guard.Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. Firstconsideration will be given to Category 1.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have Do you have experience, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions and to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures; as well as the competencies to translate specific subject criteria and information into a teaching/training capabilities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-09 Must have at least 1 -year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or equivalent to education or training of progressively responsible experience conducting or developing education and training programs; experience with Army or Air Force training programs, policies and requirements; experience in scheduling training courses, meetings, events and acquiring facilities; as well as experience in the use of training centers, in the set up and use of audio-visual presentation equipment; and experience with test methods and instructing techniques, provides guidance on the application of training materials; training techniques appropriate for classroom presentation and hands-on practical exercises on Engagement Skills Trainer, VCOT, CFFT, and various other TADSS including STE TADSS when fielded; compliance with regulations, standard operating procedures concerning training and proficiency of task-oriented skill, Provides advice and make recommendations to the using unit on training issues. Drafts input and correspondence regarding virtual simulation training to the Senior Training Instructor or Training Support Officer. Reviews and provides written response on draft circulars, field manuals and other publications pertaining to virtual simulation training.
