This vacancy is for a GS-2210-12, IT - Data Fabric Technical Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, C5ISC INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES DIVISION in ALEXANDRIA, Virginia.
Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS- 11 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

Specialized experience must include the following:
- Providing and overseeing technical support services projects designing and implementing data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from various sources, to include USCG, DHS and DoD enterprise applications.
- Managing projects processing and analyzing large datasets using distributed computing frameworks, as well as experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
- Managing projects that develop and implement scalable and secure data storage solutions using Big Data technologies like, Amazon S3, or Azure Data Lake Storage, and experience with data management tools.
- Leading technical support services projects to enable the sustainment of a secure, reliable, and resilient Enterprise Data Fabric that enhances mission effectiveness and improves efficiencies.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
