This National Guard position is for a GROUP SUPERINTENDENT (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2397000 and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard.
Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3: All current military
members of the Florida National Guard.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
Recruitment / Relocation : Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-11 Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-09 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs; experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions; experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations; experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures; experience preparing written communications and oral presentations; experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel?
