You will serve as an Executive Director in the OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF INFORMATION (CHINFO), THE NAVY'S PUBLIC AFFAIRS HEADQUARTERS in Washington, DC.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience in and knowledge of public affairs.
- Experience in and having the ability to lead and advise executive-level leadership on public affairs or strategic communication programs.
- Experience in developing, coordinating, and evaluating enterprise-level communication strategies or policies.
- Experience providing functional oversight or guidance across public affairs disciplines such as media relations, strategic messaging, visual information, outreach, workforce development, or performance measurement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
