To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.
To qualify for this position at the GS-1317-07 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-1317-06 level in the federal service (Obtained in either public or private sectors). Specialized experience is experience directly related to the work of the position being filled. Examples of qualifying specialized experience for this position include: performing tasks involved in the development of GIS databases and maps, including data collection, editing, and interpretation; Using technology for the field capture of data, including use of GPS and other survey equipment; Processing and correcting field captured spatial data, as well as existing legacy spatial data to ensure accuracy and reliability; Utilizing GIS for the statistical interpolation of spatial data and mapping the results. You must include hours per week worked.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate level education (18 semester hours) in courses directly related to the work of this position such as cartography, astronomy, geodesy, photogrammetry, oceanography, computer science, land surveying, geophysics, remote sensing, algebra, trigonometry, or calculus. You must include transcripts.

Successful completion of a COMBINATION of education and experience as described above. Six months of the specialized experience (50% of the experience requirement), and 14 semester hours of graduate level study in courses directly related to the work of this position (50% of the qualifying education). You must include transcripts.

Current surplus and current or former displaced Federal individuals who have special priority selection rights under the Agency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) must be well qualified for the position to receive consideration for special priority selection.
