Description:
This position is assigned to Fleet and Family Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Navy Region Mid Atlantic. To serve as on-site manager & representative to the Command for the planning, organization, administration, management and supervision of the installation Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs & activities. Incumbent responsible for supervising the effective coordination and accomplishment of all MWR functions which support the assigned installation/ command.Requirements:

- Operational knowledge that would be acquired through pertinent education, experience or training of goals, philosophies, principles, methods and techniques of a diverse organization that includes but is not limited to sports, fitness, aquatics, recreation, food and beverage and business activities programs.
- Knowledge of a wide range of federal, state and regional policies and regulations.
- Knowledge of DoD and Navy policies, regulations and procedures pertaining to the planning, budgeting, funding, and recreational management.
- Skill in interpersonal relations and negotiation for acquiring compliance, concurrence, or approval of policies and procedures among Navy organizations, other governmental agencies, or contractor and other non-governmental representatives.
- Skilled in the applications of management principles, concepts and methods (e.g., operations, maintenance, utilization, financial management, etc.).
- Skilled in developing and accessing recommendations and training materials to increase the efficiency of area of responsibility (AOR) program policies.
- Ability to analyze and prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports related to work within assigned installation.
