In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: O ne year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience: 1) conducting work site surveys to identify and evaluate environmental hazards and potential health hazards; 2) performing analysis using standard methods to determine nature and degree of toxic material present in a variety of materials such as environmental samples and industrial products; 3) conducting surveys to evaluate existing potential health hazards and recommending solutions to problems.
