This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Nurse (Clinical/MHPT/PCMH) providing routine nursing care, administering medications, and reviewing medical records. This position is at Patuxent River.

Basic Requirement for a Nurse (Clinical/MHPT/PCMH):
Education: A graduate or higher level degree, bachelors degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained; OR if you are a graduate from a foreign nursing school, official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts or your certificate from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools.)
Experience: One year of professional nursing experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) providing routine nursing care, 2) administering medications, and 3) reviewing medical records.
Licensure : Applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination and possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
