These positions are located in the Trails Maintenance Division at Acadia National Park.The typical seasonal period is May-October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: May 2026 .

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:- Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)
- Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order)
- Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (other than blueprints)
- Ability To Use and Maintain tools and Equipment
- Dexterity and Safety

Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT): have worked individually or with a crew performing trail maintenance with close supervision. Tasks assigned to me are inspected upon completion by a leader or supervisor for conformance to requirements.
