Description:
The primary purpose of the position is to perform the operation, installation, repair, modification, and preventative and corrective maintenance, of residential and commercial electronic systems consisting of a wide variety of components, devices, antennas, and fixtures, in historic and modern buildings, offices, housing units, etc., and in open park areas.Requirements:
Probationary/Trial Period Continued:This probationary or trial period is an extension of the appointment process and therefore requires the agency to determine if continued employment would advance the public interest, meet the organization goals and mission of the agency, and/or otherwise promote the efficiency of the service. In determining if your employment advances the public interest, the agency will consider:
- your performance and conduct;
- the needs and interests of the agency;
- whether your continued employment would advance organizational goals of the agency or the Government; and
- whether your continued employment would advance the efficiency of the Federal service.
Upon completion of your probationary period -OR- trial period your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.

- Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.

- Trouble shooting (Electronic Equipment)
- Use of Test Equipment: Electronics
