Description:
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Treasury Common Services Center, Office of the Deputy Administrator for Human Resources Services. As a Program Manager (Division Director), you will be serving as a Director responsible for a broad range of Human Resources program functions.
Requirements:
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in at least three (3) of the following Human Resources areas:
- Evaluating Human Resources programs, policies, and operational processes to identify best practices, trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, including the strategic use of automation and technology to enhance service delivery; OR
- Resolving multifaceted, sensitive, or precedent-setting issues requiring authoritative interpretation and application of Human Resources laws, regulations, policies, and executive guidance; OR
- Leading Human Resources operational projects or initiatives that impact service delivery and require managing resources, schedules, deadlines, and risk mitigation; OR
- Developing, approving, or overseeing Human Resources policy and process guidance and presenting recommendations to senior executives and Human Resources leadership; OR
- Developing and implementing strategic goals and direction related to Human Resources operations; OR
- Providing consultative and advisory services to senior executives on operational and Human Resources matters; OR
- Communicating strategic, business-oriented, and technical Human Resources information effectively to senior executives to support executive decision-making.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
