Description:
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D0872P01 and is part of the NJ AASF 1, National Guard.
Its purpose is to perform work involved in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating, aligning, and maintaining the complete electronic integrated systems on Army National Guard helicopters.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE :Must have general experience in the follow:
- Knowledge of electrical or electronic theory, and testing procedures
- Using hand tools of the electronics trade, and skill in reading schematics
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
Must have specialized experience in the following:
- Utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic systems or equipment
- Diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems
- Making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment
- Using complex test equipment such as deviation meters, complex special test panels, etc
- Demonstrating the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and publications
