About the position: This position will be assigned to the Fitness and Sports Center at Seymour Johnson AFB.
This position is a Flexible position. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility.
Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants in the operation and maintenance of Fitness and Sports programs.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Experience in clerical or other office work of any kind which demonstrated the ability to perform the duties of the position. Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures and equipment.
- Must be able to communicate bother orally and in writing.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds.
- Must be 18 years of age.
