This position is located at the Fort Leavenworth US Disciplinary Barracks, Metal Shop.The USDB mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" vocational programs for military offenders.

Requirements:
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Work experience managing or directing the activities of a Sheet Metal Shop.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
- Experience working in a correctional environment.
- Experience in gas and arc welding.
- Experience with manufacturing and assembling various types of metal products/parts.
- Experience in purchasing metal and metal fabrication supplies.
- Experience working with various welding processes to include brazing, soldering, flame cutting, and surface hardening.
