Description:
This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center at Port San Antonio, TX.This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience with contracting principles, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated leadership experience as a contracting professional achieving program results across complex and diverse organizations, ensuring the office's mission and objectives are met. Experience with business practices and market conditions as applicable. Experience with applying contract price/cost analysis techniques to a variety of pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions. Experience leading junior contract specialists.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other related software as required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or at least 24 semester hours of course work in business management topics.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
