This position is located on the Island of Oahu at Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Waianae, HI .

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification Criteria

• Must hold current Waterfront Lifeguard , CPR , Oxygen Administration , AED , and First Aid certifications
• Ability to obtain First Responder certification within 6 months of hire

• Must have 12 months of experience in waterfront lifeguard operations, including ocean rescue experience

• Must demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and complete tasks within established timeframes

• Strong communication skills , with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and using correct grammar

• Possess effective people skills and the ability to work well with staff and the public

• Experience with office and administrative functions , including preparing and managing reports
• Lifeguard Instructor certificate is preferred
