As an Training Specialist , you will manage the analysis, design, operation, delivery, and evaluation of learning and professional USCIS development programs throughout the District and Program Office and administers the programs activities to the workplace.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/29/2026. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:

• Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of training program administration in order to plan, administer, and evaluate the application of programs.
• Plan, schedule, and carry out major training initiatives and objectives.
• Assist in developing recommendations for implementing specific guidelines and standards for use in instructional design, employee development, and organizational development.
• Analyze major aspects of mission-oriented training programs, by generating and applying new hypotheses and concepts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
