Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.Applicant must have at least a Bachelor's Degree.
Applicants must upload their official transcripts for a bachelors' degree in nursing (BSN) and upload their current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by a State Board of Nursing OR a school nurse license issued by a State Board of Education with an expiration date expressing that the document is valid. Current state RN licensure must be provided and maintained throughout employment with DoDEA. Applicants should have a minimum of one year experience as a school nurse or school nurse substitute in a Pre-K-12 school setting. If the applicant has a baccalaureate degree in other than nursing AND current RN license, the applicant must have at least one year school nurse experience. A second teacher category is not required.
