You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist (SHIPS) in the Quality Assurance Office (QA) Department (Code 130), CAQAP Waterfront Quality Assurance Div (Code 131), Non-Combatant Branch (Code 131B), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience evaluating and managing a comprehensive contract quality assurance program.
- Experience providing contractor availability and performance assessments.
- Experience negotiating and coordinating complex issues related to quality assurance of shipbuilding.
- Experience reviewing work specifications on ships.
- Experience maintaining and analyzing quality shipbuilding data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in contractors quality.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
