Quality Assurance Specialist (SHIPS)

Description:

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist (SHIPS) in the Quality Assurance Office (QA) Department (Code 130), CAQAP Waterfront Quality Assurance Div (Code 131), Non-Combatant Branch (Code 131B), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience evaluating and managing a comprehensive contract quality assurance program.
• Experience providing contractor availability and performance assessments.
• Experience negotiating and coordinating complex issues related to quality assurance of shipbuilding.
• Experience reviewing work specifications on ships.
• Experience maintaining and analyzing quality shipbuilding data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in contractors quality.
