This National Guard position is for a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0603000 and is part of the FL CBJTC, National Guard.
Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

MILITARY GRADES: Enlisted: E4 thru E7
GENERAL EXPERIENCE :Must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of housing management methods, practices and operating techniques; experience communicating information both verbally and in writing, and the ability to meet and deal with individuals and groups.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS07 Must have at least 1-year of experience, education or training determining deficiencies of housing and coordinating the required services to correct the deficiencies. Experience reviewing housing applications for accuracy and completeness. Experience monitoring housing assignments in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. Experience in conducting audits and preparing reports. Experience using automated systems to update, retrieve and analyze data.
