Requirements:
FOR the GS-07In addition to the meeting the Basic Education Requirements for this position , your resume must also demonstrate meeting the minimum qualification at least one year of at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector - your specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- As a professional Mechanical Engineer or OPM accepted equivalency (FE or EIT) engineer having working knowledge, skills and abilities w/subtractive (CNC), Additive (3D printing), processing (plating, cleaning NDI), manufacturing to assist senior engineers to complete engineering projects; AND
- Utilizing knowledge, skills and abilities w/software associated and w/computer aided design (CAD) such as Autocad, Solidworks NX to complete mechanical engineering assignments.
FOR the GS-09
In addition to the meeting the Basic Education Requirements for this position , your resume must also demonstrate meeting the minimum qualification at least one year of at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, your specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- As a professional Mechanical Engineer or OPM accepted equivalency (FE or EIT) engineer having knowledge, skills and abilities w/subtractive (CNC), Additive (3D printing), processing (plating, cleaning NDI), manufacturing to provide mechanical engineer support;
- Demonstrating knowledge, skills and abilities in Software associated w/computer aided design (CAD) such as Autocad, Solidworks NX; AND
- Performing knowledge, skills and abilities in "Project Management" developing milestones & schedules for logistical elements.
