Description:

You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Sensor Integration and Technology Department, Radar Technologies Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist researching and analyzing technical program requirements (e.g. Mechanically Scanned Radar Systems, Passive Electronically Scanned Radar Systems, Active Electronically Scanned Radar Systems, Electromagnetic Warfare Systems, Communication Systems) ensuring proper technical rigor for the development and effective execution of system engineering practices .
