THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5014P01 and is part of the IL HRO AF, National Guard.
Requirements:
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The areas of consideration for this position, Title 5 Excepted Service, will be in the following manner and sequence:- The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be candidates who match through the Priority Placement Program (PPP).
- The SECOND area of consideration will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-14 Level, MUST possess at least one year of specialized experiences at the equivalent of a GS-13 level; experience as a staff advisor to TAG/CG, staff elements, and operating official on matters pertaining to manpower and HR management; direct development of administrative regulations and procedures to provide efficient and timely accomplishment of all HR functions; ability to review incoming and outgoing correspondence with particular emphasis on compliance with all laws, policies, and related official guidance; ensure familiarity and compliance with DCPAS and OPM guidance; ability to be responsible for the HR management of all Full-Time Workforce personnel dispersed throughout the state, engage in a variety of occupations under the Federal Wage and General Schedule pay systems as well as military pay schedules; ability to maintain the responsibility for the full range of HR management major duties and responsibilities as follows: HR Development, Employee Benefits, Equal Opportunity Programs, HR Information Systems, Military (AGR), Performance Management and Employee/Labor Relations, Position Classification and Position Management, Recruitment/Placement and Compensation, and Federal Funds Management.
SPECIALIZED SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE : MUST possess supervisory experience which includes experience in managing the function of the work to be performed' experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
