Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing technical support duties related to processing, reviewing, and maintaining medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness; validating health data for statistical, administrative, and reporting purposes; using automated coding tools and references to support accurate record review and documentation; validating health data for statistical, administrative, and reporting purposes.
OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Medical transcriptionist, Health information, and Healthcare IT specialist .
