About the Position: Perform duties under the supervision of the Chief of Training, Office of the Commandant, Henry H. Lind NCO Academy, who provides guidelines regarding specific objectives to be achieved; and provides guidance regarding training issues. Provides advice and guidance in resolving unusual problems and on new and changed policies and procedures. Incumbent accomplishes functions independently.Requirements:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Prepares hand receipts documents to support the issuance and accountability of equipment in accordance with established regulations. (2) Performs inventory record functions by updating accountability systems to reflect receipts, issues, turn-ins, and adjustments. (3) Files supply documentation to ensure audit compliance and proper retention of property accountability records. AND (4) Utilized automated supply systems to updated inventory records and ensure accurate accountability of incoming and outgoing property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
