You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the OPERATION AND PLANS (N3), FUTURE OPERATIONS (N35), FUTURE PLANS (N35A) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience participating in the planning, programming, budgeting, analysis, forecasting, and execution of an annual budget.
- Experience performing oversight of contract performance.
- Experience with commercial vessel practices to include American Bureau of Shipbuilding class requirements and how they affect the readiness of sea going vessels.
- Experience analyzing ship readiness, ship manning, and supplies/spares status.
- Experience identifying gaps and recommendations to improve deficiencies to promote mission readiness.
- Experience coordinating with stakeholder organizations on matters relating to operations, mission support and employment.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
