Description:

Requirements:

For GS-9 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS- 7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience applying knowledge of DoD and Service-specific programs, local, state, and federal laws, as well as military regulations, policies, and executive orders pertaining to sexual assault victim advocacy.
  • Experience with comprehensive knowledge of essential support and advocacy services, liaison resources, community networks, and best practices for aiding victims of sexual assault.
  • Experience in data entry, organization, report preparation, and information development.
  • Experience effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
For GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS- 9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience applying knowledge of the duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals of the SAPR program to provide available and appropriate resources.
  • Experience in applying varied methods of sexual assault victim advocacy, including crisis intervention, situational assessment, and needs analysis to provide tailored support and assistance and evaluate safety and levels of risk.
  • Experience developing trusting relationships within the scope of supporting sexual assault victims.
  • Experience defining the scope and parameters of the SAPR VA role to empower victims from initial response to termination of the professional relationship.
