THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This position is for a Aircraft Flight Survival Equipment Repairer , Position Description Number D1728000 , located in the 165th Operations Support Squadron, Garden City, GA.
This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership.
Area of Consideration: Open to current members of the Georgia Air National Guard.

General Experience : Must possess experience or training which demonstrates the applicants knowledge of materials and equipment used in the line of work (helmets, torso harness assemblies, parachutes, survival equipment); ability to understand written instructions and to use reference materials and manuals.
Specialized Experience : Experience or trainingwhich has demonstrated knowledge of aviation life support equipment; experience reading and interpreting military manuals; experience in supply procedures and property accountability; experience collecting information and presenting it to various sized groups; experience in planning a functional shop maintenance program is essential.
Physical Effort: Physical effort is the same as that required for other worker(s) in the shop.
Working Conditions: Working conditions are the same as for the other worker(s) in the shop.
