This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for USACE for Real Estate Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Responsible for managing activities of the Management & Disposal Branch with responsibilities for all technical and execution phases of the Civil Works, Environmental, Inter-agency, International Services (EIIS), and Military real estate support program for the New York District.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Leading a team of real estate employees and overseeing federal real estate acquisition, management, and disposal activities; Directing disposal actions such as sale and removal of buildings, sale or reporting for disposal of excess land or interests in land; Conducting complex real estate negotiations, such as leases, licenses, easements or permits; Applying federal real estate regulations to ensure real estate mission execution.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
