About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located in Pine Bluff, AR. The Ammunition Plant Supervisor serves as the technical and administrative supervisor over the Ammunition Production Team.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Ammunition Plant Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Which include explaining methods and procedures for the production and manufacturing of chemical or toxic filled munitions; and identifying problems to report to management to receive instructions on the corrective action. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

  • Work Environment: Work is usually performed indoors, or outdoors in covered areas or passageways which provide some protection. Wears protective clothing as required including flameproof coveralls and cap, cotton underwear and socks, conductive sole shoes, non-pervious gloves, NIOSH approved full face chemical respirator with toxic dust filter. Is subject to exposure to fumes from acids, solvents, other industrial type chemicals and to explosions and flash fires. There is a chance of injuries ranging from loss of life to burns, cuts, bruises, sprains, and nausea.
